Prior to starting Castle Architects, our Principal Architect, Lesley Castle, worked for top architecture firms based in Los Angeles, notably Gensler, Soho House, and other design firms. She graduated with the Master of Architecture degree from internationally acclaimed architecture school SCI-Arc and is a Hawaii licensed Architect, registered by NCARB. Castle Architects brings over 15 years of commercial and residential architecture experience to the office. We are available for project consulting, planning, design and taking a project to the finish line through construction documentation and permitting.

With over fifteen years of design and permitting experience for projects in Hawaii, California, Utah, the US Virgin Islands and more, we know how to navigate complex problems and find solutions. We work with the local planning and building departments to determine the best course of action for your project. In Maui, we work with the Maui County Department of Water, Maui County Development Services Administration - Building Permits Section, Maui County Planning Department, and all the other state and county agencies required to plan, review and receive approvals for your project. As a Maui based Architect, we are familiar with the local building and zoning codes, are skilled in navigating complex code research, and work with the local agencies to help you determine the best fit for your project.
